Sometimes my clients want to put line items on deals without creating/publishing a quote, either as a way to estimate the size of the deal early on or because they need line items for revenue calculations/fulfillment but DON'T intend to actually quote/contract through HubSpot.

Since the quote.hapily line items sidebar is/has been read-only, the only way to use the rules engine for line items is to create/publish a quote, since line items won't be created until that point.

It would be awesome to be able to edit line items as a standalone extension, similarly to how HubSpot does it out of the box, just with all the quote.hapily goodness.
